Connect the voice interviewer.
The live mode uses OpenAI Realtime speech-to-speech over WebRTC. A small local Node server keeps the API key out of the browser. No third-party course files are uploaded.
- Use Node 22 or newer.
- Configure OPENAI_API_KEY in your server environment through a secret manager. Do not paste it into chat or this page.
- From this demo folder, run: node server.mjs
- Open http://127.0.0.1:8767/voice.html and review the audio consent notice.
Use a project budget limit in your provider account. The browser disconnects at 30 minutes for a full interview, 15 for behavioral, or 10 for a technical drill, but that does not guarantee a dollar cap or revoke a call if the browser crashes. This loopback-only server is for owner testing, not public deployment.
Public use needs authentication, abuse limits, server-enforced session lifetime, candidate consent and a data retention policy. Raw audio is not recorded by this app. OpenAI processes the audio; transcripts and feedback are held in browser memory and exported only on request.
BIWS library: useful as a coverage reference
The supplied index lists 3,181 downloads across eight courses, including an investment banking interview guide, financial modeling, banking and real estate. That helps identify subjects and validate the depth of our original exercises. This implementation has not ingested all files, copied their question bank, or uploaded them to a model.
Verification status
Session configuration, local API guardrails and the missing-key state are tested locally. Live speech, timing, interruptions, answer-driven reasoning and feedback quality require a configured API key and a real end-to-end trial. No superiority to IB Vine has been demonstrated.
